Groundbreaking Announcement

Groundbreaking and Funding Announcement for the North Wind Wellness Centre

The North Wind Wellness Centre (NWWC) celebrated today along with our valued funders from BC Housing, First Nations Health Authority, Northern Health, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and Streetohome, the official groundbreaking of our new Centre.

This marks a significant milestone in the development of this transformative project. The North Wind Wellness Centre Society is creating an innovative health and wellness facility in Pouce Coupe, B.C., dedicated to supporting individuals in overcoming addiction and homelessness.

As the first organization in Canada to implement the Addiction Recovery Community Housing (ARCH) model, NWWC is at the forefront of comprehensive, First Nations-focused addiction recovery services. This new facility will provide a full continuum of care, bridging critical gaps in the current substance use recovery landscape and helping build a stronger, healthier future for those in need.
