Youth and Back-to-the-Land Programming

Even though our target group is co-ed adults, we welcome opportunities to serve youth at risk, as well as, back-to-the-land programming through our networking with Indigenous local communities who take the initiative of leading these programs. We are also open to serve youth at risk through the School Districts, in Dawson Creek and in Fort St. John along with their respective surroundings.

Both, youth and back-to-the-land programs are adapted to the particular needs of the local community organizing them in terms of length and content. The aim of these programs is to promote healing, growth, in a balanced lifestyle renewing a sense of cultural identity for the participants. The core content of programming includes local spiritual and cultural activities, individual and group counselling, screening/assessments, and case conferencing with referral sources.
