Youth Program

Even though our target group is co-ed adults, we have been welcoming youth at risk as well, through our networking with the School Districts, in Dawson Creek and in Fort St. John along with their respective surroundings.

The youth program is a two-week treatment that promotes healing, growth, a balanced lifestyle and a renewed sense of cultural identity for youth ages 13 to 18; priority is given to pregnant youth and those with suicidal tendencies.

The program includes case conferencing with referral sources, counselling assessments, individual and group counselling, and spiritual and cultural activities.

Participants must be alcohol and drug free for a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to admission.

Office and Intake hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. We are a Not-for-Profit, Registered Charity, funded primarily by the First Nations Health Authority. Our mandate is to serve primarily First Nations, Metis, and Inuit persons. We also serve anyone legally entitled to live in Canada and we consider applications from the USA and other countries on a per diem basis.
